Raw Material Preparation

Then, they are mixed in the correct proportions to form the raw meal. The raw meal is then preheated and pre-calcined in the preheater and precalciner. After that, it is sent to the ball mill for grinding.

Grinding Process

In the grinding process, the raw meal is ground into fine powder by the ball mill. The grinding chamber of the ball mill is cylindrical, and the grinding media is usually steel balls or steel cylpebs. As the mill rotates, the grinding media crushes and grinds the raw meal into fine powder. The ground material is then discharged from the mill through the discharge grate plate, and the fine powder is collected by the dust collector.

Cement Storage and Packaging

The ground cement is transported to the cement silos for storage. From the cement silos, it can be directly loaded into trucks or railway cars for transportation to the construction site. Alternatively, it can be packed in bags or bulk containers for sale. The cement packaging process includes automatic weighing, bagging, sealing, and palletizing. The packaged cement is then ready for distribution and use.
